Karen Bentata-Grimm is the assistant principal of Carnegie Primary School. Throughout her teaching career she has been a classroom teacher of many year levels, taught art, PE, French and was the school librarian for a few years. Karen believes students should learn at their point of need and supports and leads staff professional learning in order to achieve this. Karen is passionate about children’s literature. She is a lifelong bookworm and endeavours to pass this love of books on to her students. As part of her current role, she runs student bookclubs, encouraging a love of reading to all.
