Demelza brings over 15 years of experience in the tertiary sector to her academic leadership position at Guilford Young College in Hobart. As an active researcher in the field of Australian literature, she is passionate about decolonising pedagogies and has published widely both in Australia and overseas. Dr Hall’s current research project, which was a recipient of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature’s “Seed Funding” grant scheme, has seen her collaborate closely with First Nations writers, educators, and students to develop new approaches to learning and teaching within the English studies classroom.
